Do you really need lots of sheets and blankets if you use sleeping bags?

NO. I bought cot top sheets before having a baby, and have never used them.
I have only used fitted cot sheets and sleeping bags. Also I found the grobags, had polyester in them and when my baby was growing quickly I could see I was going to be purchasing a new sleeping bag every month, because I either needed a new size or the weather was changing.
Merino Kids, GoGo Bags are wonderful. They are made of merino wool with a cotton outer and does 18-30 degrees. Merino wool breathes and controls moisture.
There is a light all cotton available for those really hot nights and a duvet one which is great for trips to colder climates or out in the pram at night. They even have a little slit for car or pram seat belts. I prefer the light cotton Go Go Bag to a blanket in the pram if out at night in summer...protects against mosquitos and your baby can't kick it off.
My son has only just outgrown the Size 0-2 years (adjustable as you go) and is now in the toddler size 2-4yrs.
