I got a safety first kit with a really big eye dropper from Target. It came with a few other things, like nail clippers and a nose sqweezie thingie, for about $20. I target it at the back of his throat, and it goes over his tongue. He can't spit it up cause it goes stright down the back of his throat. I'm not sure if it would work as well on an older child, but it should, it's about 10sm long. It's small, and only goes up to 3mls. Since my children's panadol says 1.8mls is a dose for a 1-2 year old, it should be the right size.
