It's a stampede: IKEA recall the ANTILOP high chair

Product recall on IKEA Antilop high chair

It's possibly the most popular high chair in the world which is why it's surprising that IKEA has taken such a long time to recall ANTILOP high chairs made from 2006 to 2010.

Apparently pre-2010 ANTILOP have belt clips that can come undone unexpectantly creating a fall hazard.

The solution is simple. Get yourself a new chair belt from your local IKEA Returns & Exchange counter or contact IKEA customer service at your closest store to organise you replacement.

To find out if your chair is affected flip it upside down and look for the supplier number 17389 and a production date between 0607 to 0911.

It's amazing to think 169,000 ANTILOP chairs are being recalled in the US/Canada alone.
