I would not even consider buying one unless it has a five point harness. They are they only type that hold a child securely , partly so that there is no risk of a child leaning over sideways. Baby seats and GOOD booster seats have five point harnesses.

I agree - and have you even tried riding the bike while a child is throwing themselves side to side!? Have you checked out the WeeRide? It's completely different from the old style bike seats.

A five point safety harness is a must. We are currently using the WeeRide and both dad & toddler absolutely love it. Safety is an important concerns parents need to decide on when buying a bike seat. However for child & parent comfort & enjoyment perspecitve we'd recommend the WeeRide.
