Design and Features

The Airwrap is a long cot bumper in two sections made of breathable mesh fabric that fits right around your baby’s cot. It comes in a style for cots with four slatted side and a style for cots with solid ends.

It has velcro ends to secure the bumper to your cot.

Performance and Drawbacks

Babies really do shuffle around their cots a lot and on their way they bang their heads and get their arms and legs stuck out the sides. The Airwrap goes a long way to preventing such cot mishaps.

It is important that you fit the Airwrap tightly otherwise it will slip down and although you can breath through the fabric (I tried it) it’s much harder bunched up. The bumper is designed to be collapsible to prevent it being used as a step up, and out of the cot.

Conclusion

Sids and Kids really mean it when they recommend no bumpers and other paraphernalia in cots so you should consider this carefully when buying these types of products.

If you think your baby needs a bumper in their cot the Airwrap is probably the safest option you will find.
