Design and Features

The AngelWrap is a large sized muslin wrap with a coloured trim. It comes in white with white, light pink, light blue or mint green trim.

The unique feature of the AngelWrap is its shape which is designed to fold in a particular way so it is secures your baby without fasteners.

Performance and Drawbacks

Every parent loves a big wrap and the AngelWrap is big at 130 x 135 cms. It comfortably fits an infant up until 6 months. It may initially be a little big for a newborn but you can fold it over under the chin.

The design is quite smart with its puzzle piece shape. It's easy to use; you just fold the wings over each arm and then wrap each side around your baby's body. Your baby’s weight keeps it secure while they are sleeping. The wrap style means that you can wrap tight or a little looser or even wrap your baby's arms a little tighter than their body. Considering that different babies have different preferences this is pretty handy.

The muslin fabric means that this wrap is nice and light for a summer baby. It is folded over several times in some places but is still light and airy. The ability to wrap a bit more loosely than other wraps also makes it a good option for summer.

Of course it’s just as suitable for winter in conjunction with a warm blanket.

The AngelWrap is a little stiff new but after a couple of washes it softens up nicely. Just make sure you put your baby on it the right way. It could be a challenge in the middle of the night or for the uninitiated.

Conclusion

$23.95 is on the more expensive side for a muslin wrap, however, babies do have a habit of breaking out of the most snugly applied wrap which kinda defeats the purpose of using one in the first place. The unique design of the AngleWrap goes a long way to preventing the startling reflex and allows you to wrap tight or loose to suit your baby's preference.

Availability of the AngelWrap is limited; you can buy it online directly from Downunder Kids or from selected children's stores.
