Design and Features
The Avent Magic Cup is available in two sizes, a range of colours and come with a little snap on lid.
You can get three spout options, a soft white spout for infants, a harder green spout for toddlers and a faster flowing spout for older toddlers. The spouts are designed to be non spill yet easy to suck. You can also buy handles separately.
Performance and Drawbacks
Surprisingly these cups really are non spill. You do have the valve on the right way so make sure you pay attention when you take them apart for washing.
They are made of durable, BPA free plastic and can withstand a toss from a great height. They go through the dishwasher many, many times without deterioration.
They can be a bit on the fiddly side and some parents’ complain that they do spill after the first wash.
The most important consideration is to make sure you get the soft spout version for infants. The hard spouts can cause injury to the less coordinated.
Conclusion
The Magic Cup has been a big winner in our household. Buy them when they are on special at some of the bigger supermarkets like Kmart, Target and Toys R Us.
