Design and Features
The b.box is a nappy change station in a box; a small box which can fit inside your handbag, backpack or messenger bag. It's about twice the thickness of a standard Huggies travel wipes box and a little longer. (For the more precise parent, that's 25x15.3x5.9cm.)
The b.box is made from 100% recyclable polypropylene plastic and does not contain BPA, PVC or phthalates. The change mat is made from polyester.
It features an airtight wipes section, soft change mat and a little rubber flap to keep your mat and nappies secure. It fits wipes, the mat, two small or one large nappy, nappy bags and a small tube of bum cream.
It comes in five funky designs and colour combos, beep beep, cherry delight, falling leaves, flower power and retro circles (see the gallery for colours).
Performance and Drawbacks
The b.box has everything going for it. It’s a well considered design with nice touches such as access to your wipes from both inside and outside the box and an opening mechanism which makes it easy for mum and dad to get into, but pretty much impossible for the craftiest of toddlers to crack (luckily they can't read the 'press to open' instuructions).
It's well made, solid and so easy to keep clean, you can toss it in the sink and give it a good scrub if you want (no dishwashers please).
The change mat is a reasonable size and you can wipe it clean, handwash or pop it in the (cold) gentle cycle on your washing machine.
It fits every sized nappy and most sized wipes. You can fit in a reasonable number of wipes and squeeze in two larger nappies if you are a rebel like me.
Its super mini size makes it very portable, pop it into mum or dad's bag for a trip out or leave one in the car or at Nanna & Pop's in case of emergency.
Conclusion
I'm a big fan of the b.box, it's such a smart and user freindly design. At $34.95 you can afford to have them stashed everywhere.

One of the best things about the b.box is that it's not from some flash design studio out of New York, but designed and produced by a couple of Aussie mums out of Melbourne.
