Design and Features
The Boon Snack Ball is a tennis ball sized snack pod. It has a little lid which your child slides across to open and you can unscrew it in the middle to fill and wash it.
They are made from a BPA-free plastic and come in pale blue with an orange lid, white with a pink lid or bright blue with a green lid.
Performance and Drawbacks
These Boon Snack Balls are the perfect size for little hands both to hold and to dip into for a cracker or sultana. They will keep a toddler happily snacking in their pram for about half an hour per half filled ball and the design is smart for less spillage.
The lid being joined to the ball is really useful because it can’t be lost. However, it can be pulled off by a determined toddler; you can just pop it back on without too many troubles.
They are easy to keep clean, dishwasher safe and hardy so they won’t crack when dropped.
However, when they are dropped they have a tendency to roll off which is annoying. I’ve had to fish my little guys out from under a car. They can also be a bit fiddly when you try to fill them up; it takes both hands.
They can be used from 9 months and up to any age really.

We've had two of these Boon Snack Balls in operation for 12 months and they are still in good condition even though they are used daily and get popped into the dishwasher regularly.
The two things that are really good about them are that they save resources and money. Rather than buy little packs of kids snacks we save money by buying bigger packs and using the Boon Balls. Also I can also determine how much of the snack I want to give to my toddler.
The most annoying thing is that they roll about when you are tying to fill them and you have to chase them if your toddler drops them.
Because they are not too 'baby' looking our child can use these Boon Snack Balls until his hands get too big to fit in the opening.
Conclusion
Boon Snack Balls are really great when you are out and about and just need a little something to keep your toddler happy in the pram.
