Design and Features
The Bright Bots Fitted Nappy is a terry towelling nappy that is shaped to fit your baby like pants. They have elastic legs, adjustable Velcro fastenings and come in small, medium and large sizes.
They have a 100% cotton outside and a polyester lining inside to absorb wee. They come in blue, pink, lilac and lime colours.
Performance and Drawbacks
Polyester linings in cheaper fitted nappies are not as effective as more expensive fitted nappies with terry towelling layers so, as to be expected, the Bright Bots have a tendency to leak after a period.
As long as your baby hasn’t been storing wee up for a rainy day you should get about three hours wear out of one of these nappies. As for poo, I’ll let you be the judge.
Cleaning is the same as normal terry nappies, the Bright Bot colours have the advantage of not needing bleaching.
Conclusion
I really wanted these nappies to do the trick because Bright Bots are an Aussie company and they are reasonably priced but they weren’t as good as I had hoped.
Probably best used as an interim option during those periods when a nappy won't be needed for long.
