How to get your baby off the bottle and on to a cup has always been a bit tricky. Some clever dudes from the UK have come up with this groovy little solution.
Design and Features
Looking a little like it stepped out of a Dali nightscape the Doidy Cup has a kink in it which allows your baby to see the contents without having to stick their head in the cup.
It has two little handles which make is easier to drink from but also easier for your baby to put down. It comes in a good range of funky colours including a sparkley model.
Performance and Drawbacks
This cup is not going to make you immune from the odd liquid dump or toss favoured by the (very) young people of today but it will make it easier for them to have a guzzle when they are inclined.
It can be used independently from 6 months or with help from mum or dad from birth.
It is dishwasher and microwave safe (not that it is recommended that you heat drinks in the microwave).
Conclusion
Health professionals in the UK have been advocating the Doidy cup as a way of preventing the problems of long term use of bottles. For $12.50 it's a good investment.
