Design and Features

This Fisher-Price bath is made of durable blue plastic and features an aquarium themed hammock slung across the bath to hold your baby. The hammock has a head support system and is adjustable to accommodate your baby as it grows.

It also has arm rests on either side for parent comfort and some little bath toys to keep your baby happy.

Performance and Drawbacks

This 'bathing system' has lots of features but basically gets your baby as clean as any plastic bath would.

The hammock hangs above the bath and in the winter your baby may get cold lying in it. Also some babies don’t like the feel of it against their skin.

There have been occasions where some parents have felt secure leaving their baby in a bath hammock which has lead to tragic outcomes. Never leave your baby in the bath unattended in this or any other bath or bath hammock.

It's quite a small bath and some babies have outgrown it as early as 12 weeks.

Conclusion

If you think that this bath will help you feel more relaxed bathing your newborn discreetly drop hints to friends and relatives that you’d like to receive one as a gift.

However, the life span is limited to the size of your baby and you may find yourself using the laundry tub quicker than you expected.
