Design and Features
You are not going to see the Fisher-Price Easy-on Infant Carrier featured in any celebrity baby-watch blogs any time soon. It's a pretty basic black design that doesn’t get the heart racing.
However, what it lacks in coolness, it makes up in function. The unique design feature of this carrier is that it is made up of two separate harnesses, one for you and one for your baby.
The parent harness is designed so that the weight sits on your hips and has three points, shoulders, waist and hips, which can be adjusted to fit comfortably before your baby goes in (or on).
The baby harness is lined with soft faux suede to prevent rubbing and once fitted to your baby simply clips onto the parents harness. Great for pass the parcel (just don’t unpeel the wrapper, you never know what you’ll get).
The carrier has several small pockets for parents' stuff and a tether to keep baby's stuff safe. It is fully machine washable.
Performance and Drawbacks
This carrier design is not the most simple on the market but it is easy to use and very sturdy and practical. There is lots of padding and support for both you and your baby and mesh fabric allows for air ventilation on those hot days.
The two harness system is fiddly but takes all the struggle out of trying to get your baby in and out and is particularly useful when your baby is asleep, you simply just detach them and pop them in their pram or car seat.
Conclusion
I’ve used several pouches in my time and this one gets the big thumbs up from me. Perfect for longer trips out like the footy. Go Swans!
