Design and Features
The Tommee Tippee Fresh Food Feeder consists of a little net and a clip down lid with a large ring on it for your baby to grip onto.
Performance and Drawbacks
The advantage of this feeder is that it allows your baby to have a suck of new foods without the worry of choking hazards. You can pop any food in it but its best suited to fruit, especially those with pips and seeds, or berries; all of which are good first foods for babies.
You can pop this feeder in the freezer for a cool treat and when dinner time is over it goes into the dishwasher.
It can be annoying to clean as food can get stuck in the net and the handle can be a bit big to grip for a smaller baby. Not all babies are going to like it in their mouths either.
Conclusion
Not a weaning necessity but it does give you the opportunity to introduce some foods at an earlier age if you wish to.
