Design
The Cleo is a standard car seat design but on the smaller side. It is nicely padded for your baby's comfort and comes in black.
Features
The seat features a baby insert and an adjustable harness. It also reclines so that your baby is comfy taking 40 winks.
It includes a sun shade which is great for our climate.
Performance
As mentioned above the Cleo was rated as above average for ease of correct installation and protection by the NSW Centre for Road Safety. It has high side wings for extra protection from side impact and the unit is easy to install.
Drawbacks
This is a budget seat so the materials aren’t as nice as some of its pricier competitors. Some parents find the components and materials (foam insert and polyester seat lining) tacky and not to their liking.
It is a smaller size seat so tall children may grow out of it quicker, check this before purchase if you are concerned.
Conclusion
Safety should be your #1 priority when buying a car seat and the Cleo scores well in that department. If you are on a budget this car seat is a good option for you. It might be hard to find so ring your local baby store before you turn up to buy it.
