The Grobag Egg is an egg shaped digital thermometer that glows different colours depending on the temperature of the room. It also has a standard digital readout.
16 – 20 degrees is the standard for nurseries and this temperature makes the Grobag Egg glow yellow. If it glows any other colour you know to adjust your baby's sleeping attire accordingly.
Performance and Drawbacks
The Egg is easy to use and takes all the thinking out of figuring out what your baby needs to wear to bed at night. It is particularly useful if you use sleeping bags with a TOG rating.
It also helps you ensure that your baby doesn’t overheat which is a SIDS risk.

You can always use your common sense but if you prefer a more scientific or accurate approach get an Egg.
Before you hand over the $$, check your other nursery equipment - some monitors/alarms have built-in thermometers.
