The Bootiq Grow With Me highchair is a plastic white seat unit on aluminum legs.
It features a padded Neoprene seat cover, adjustable legs, removable footrest, removable crotch guard and removable five point safety harness.
It comes as a white seat with red seat cover colour combo.
Performance and Drawbacks
The Grow With Me highchair is easy to assemble, just push the legs on and pop the cover over the seat and your chair is ready to host dinner. You can set it up as a traditional style highchair for a baby, a lowchair for toddlers or a seat for a more independent child.
What sets the Grow With Me highchair apart is its versatility. Set up the footrest, crotch guard, height and harness to suit your child's size, development and comfort. Personally I really like a crotch guard for comfort and safety of an infant but once your child gets bigger they can be uncomfortable. The Grow With Me highchair offers a simple solution, just remove it when you don't want it.
It's easy to adjust when you need to, so you can have a little seat for lunch at the kiddies table and a high chair for dinner at the big table with the family.
The Grow With Me highchair is very easy to keep clean, just wipe down the tray, when the seat cover gets grubby just pop it in the wash. It dries pretty quickly.
This highchair has one of my favourite highchair features, a 3 position adjustable tray. This allows you to push the tray in close to your child minimising the 'food falling in lap' syndrome.
The tray is a reasonable size. An average melamine plate is a little wide for it but it will easily fit a few bowls and a cup. The cup holder is great for an older child but it won't fit a sippy-cup or a cup with handles.
If you've got a little mover and shaker the little rubber tips on the end of the legs prevent the Grow with Me from 'walking' or tipping.
The only drawback of the Grow with Me High Chair is that it's a lump of white plastic on some aluminum legs. It's not going to win any beautiful decor awards any time soon.
Conclusion
A Bootiq Grow With Me highchair will keep your child comfy at dinner time from 6 months to 3, even 4, years. If you average the price over 3 years that's a bargain price of $28.00 per year of use.
