Design and Features
IKEA's kids eating range is called Kalas and includes mugs (no handles), plates, bowls, forks, knifes and spoons.
You get six of each item in a multi coloured pack or 18 pieces of cutlery and they are made from BPA free plastic.
Don’t fall over yourself but it's an IKEA product you don’t have to assemble.
Performance and Drawbacks
These mugs, plates, bowls and cutlery are the perfect size for babies and kids. They are microwave and dishwasher proof in addition to being kid proof. I get the feeling they will outlive me.
They are great for picnic sets & parties. They are almost as cheap as paper plates & cups and if you don't want to keep stacks of them in the cupboard fill the cups with treats and wrap the sets up as party favours. Unwrap, eat & take home.
Conclusion
As less than 20 cents per cup, bowl & plate the IKEA Kalas range is takes cheap and cheerful to new heights. You can’t get better value.
