Design and Features

Featuring a reversible design, each of the baby bags in Isoki's range offer two bags in one, simply turn the bag inside-out to reveal a whole new look. Made from a variety of stylish patterned prints and plains the bags offer enormous practicality blended with fashion and style rarely found in baby gear.

The practicality extends beyond the compartments, pockets and zips to the metal feet that protect the base of the bag from hard / wet surfaces - SO clever when you'll be using it in potential wet zones such as baby change rooms, parks and also loading it in and out of your car.

Inner components of the bag include a double-sided storage satchel, insulated cooler bag and large padded change mat, all of which can be used individually or as a complete set.

The collection currently features three different styles of baby bags: Reversible Baby Bag, Reversible Hobo Bag and Reversible Saddle Tote Bag (have a look through our image gallery). Other products produced by Isoki include: Petite Traveller, Change Mat Clutch and the handmade Vintage Style Slipper.

Performance and Drawbacks

I've had the Reversible Baby Bag since I made the magical discovery in late 2007 (no prizes here for guessing I'm bag-obsessed). It's extremely well made from top quality materials.

The only real drawback is that due to the size, it's tempting to load the bag up with anything you might possibly need for an outing and the bag subsequently becomes quite heavy. When you're juggling it, a squirming baby or toddler, a pram etc, it can be a bit of a strain on your back.

As my boy is now a toddler, I tend to only use the bag when undertaking full-day or overnight trips, but I throw the change mat in the satchel and the cooler bag full of snacks in the bottom of the pram on just about every single outing.

After using it for nearly 18 months, it's in great condition and I still love it. I also receive heaps of compliments when I use it, and the accessories.

Conclusion

While not cheap, Isoki bags really do represent value for money. They are very high quality, look fantastic and would make a great gift idea from a group of friends for an expectant mum.
