Introduction

The Kiddie Concepts convertible sippy bottle is a 350ml bottle that is designed to grow with your child. It fits most common brands of teats, sippy tops and the Kiddie Concepts sports top. It comes either with an Avent sippy top and handles for a toddler or with a sports top.

It's made of food grade stainless steel and BPA & toxin free plastics. It's suitable for cold drinks.

In use

The Kiddie Concepts convertible sippy bottle has a nice wide neck which makes the bottle easy to fill and there's plenty of room to add ice cubes for a cool summer drink. The wide neck also makes the bottle easy to keep clean with no nooks & crannies for milk drinks to fester & smell. It’s handy that you can pop the bottle in the top rack of your dishwasher for a thorough clean.

The bottle itself is light but strong, a suitable size for a baby & toddler. It's stainless steel so if dropped it may ding but ours seem to have withstood the rough & tumble of a baby, two toddlers & a pre-schooler.

It's handy to be able to buy replacement teats & sippy spouts inexpensively and locally as you need them. The Kiddie Concepts sports top is surprisingly tough, we've had one older tester chew off the cap but you'd have to have a very persistent child. It's not affected the use of the bottle and the spout itself is still working without leaking.

We've had one report of minor leaking when in use with the spout but the firm fitting cap has keep the liquid contained. Most importantly the seals on our tester bottles have not leaked (yeah!). The sports tops are fantastically tight and this is the one we’ve been using a home for self service middle-of-the-night drinks.

One of our reviewers mentioned that the liquid flow is just right for a toddler. It's paced so that the contents can't be dumped on the carpet or floorboards. The 350ml is a good sized drink for a toddler and the minimum size you'd want for a pre-schooler or older.

Everyone loves the ability to progress the Kiddie Concepts convertible sippy bottle from baby to toddler to big kid.

Finally it’s worth noting that Kiddie Concepts run a fundraising program. It's an excellent option for your pre-school.

Consider this

The removable handles make it easy for a toddler to grip onto the Kiddie Concepts convertible sippy bottle but mean the bottle doesn’t fit into a cup holder and is more bulky in a baby bag. When they are removed the bottle is a convenient size for a child’s bag and will fit into some lunch boxes & bags.

When you fill the bottle with an icy cold drink it does sweat. One of reviewers suggested that a clip to attach your bottle to a pram or bag would be a good idea for portability.

Overall

The Kiddie Concepts convertible sippy cup is a good compromise to create a 'one size fits all' sippy/water bottle. Its quality and durability really mean you can get a good three or four years of leak-free use from it.

All our testers would buy this bottle again and recommend it to their friends.
