The Easy Fit Premium is a U shaped gate that attaches to the wall using pressure. It has soft suckers on either end to cushion against the wall and prevent damage.
It fits an average doorway of 75 to 82cms but can be extended to 137cms.
It is made from powder coated steel and comes in white.
Performance and Drawbacks
When you take the Easy Fit Premium gate out of the box it looks like there’s something wrong with it because there is a big gap between the gate and the grill. However, this is part of the design and creates the pressure which gives it a strong grip in your doorway.
It’s easy to install and once it’s there is solid and will comfortably handle the pressure of an active toddler giving it a hard shake or bash.
It has a two-way swing, self closes and has a triple locking mechanism so that your baby can’t figure out how to open it. You squeeze the handle from the top and bottom to open this gate. It’s slightly easier and quicker to use than the lever style of the Easy Fit Plus and the soft handle makes it more comfortable to use.
It is very durable and should last you many years and several babies.
It can be difficult to attach extensions and if you use any kind of tool on it it will chip the paint making your new gate look tatty very quickly.
