Design and Features
The Mokopuna Cocoono sleeping bag is made from a double layer of soft, non itch, marino fabric. It comes in a variety of modern colour combinations.
It features buttoned shoulders and zipped sides and bottom for easy access to your baby and allows for nappy changes without having to take the sleeping bag completely off. It also has a cross over neckline to give your baby a little extra warmth across their chest.
For easy mobility it has slot in the bottom for a car or pram restraint and would be an excellent alternative to a pram foot muff in appropriate weather conditions.
Performance and Drawbacks
Being made from 100% marino this bag is both cool in summer and warm and snug in winter. So no matter what the conditions you know your baby is comfortable and a comfortable baby sleeps sounder.
This sleeping bag only comes in one size. As long as your babies head can not fit through neck of the sleeping bag it should be OK, however, you should always use your common sense when putting your baby to bed.
Conclusion
This sleeping bag is very expensive. However the ability to use it in summer and winter and its one size fits all design means that you should get a lot more use out of it than other sleeping bags.
It's not widely available in Australia at the moment but bound to become more popular. You can purchase them on-line from New Zealand.
