Design and Features

In the Night Garden is based on the theme of putting a child to sleep and the magical world of dream they enter into. It’s designed to relax and comfort toddlers, espeically about their night time routine.

The characters are soft and gentle and each has unique characteristics and/or special interest in specific activities. My favorite is Makka Pakka who likes washing faces and stacking stones.

Currently there are two DVD’s in the series, Who’s Here and Hello Iggle Piggle, but you can expect more to be released in the future. Each DVD has five episodes so get ready to hear those songs over and over again.

Performance and Drawbacks

Parents may go ‘what the?’ but toddlers love it. Every time the theme music is played my little guy freezes, turns, says ‘hello’ and settles down for a good half hour of Tombliboo fun. (Why do their pants fall down?)

Conclusion

There’s something odd, yet reassuring about In the Night Garden.
