Performance and Drawbacks
This biggest advantage of this compact Breastpump is the ability to choose electric or battery operation. This makes it one of the simplest Breastpumps on the market to take out and about with you. You can also use it one handed which is a bonus.
You’d think that no manual action was required with an electric/battery operated pump but you would be wrong. This Breastpump has a button which controls the sucking motion so you can imitate your baby’s feeding rhythm. Many mums find this hard or annoying to use and there are reports of scores of sore-nippled mums which may be the result of not using this function properly.
It can also be difficult to clean.
Conclusion
Although I think Pigeon generally make good products, too many mums dislike this pump. Better to be safe than sorry.
