Design and Features
The Combo Carrier is a hip style carrier which allows your baby to face forward or backwards. It features a waist belt, over the shoulder strap and a safety belt for your baby. The shoulder strap is ergonomically designed and has soft gel inserts for parent comfort.
For a baby carrier it is versatile and can be used for a variety of different functions. It comes with an additional strap and a slip resistant seat to enable it to be used as a high chair and shopping trolley restraint. Some parents have also used it on planes and public transport. It doesn’t have any padding and the fabric is synthetic so it is suitable for use at the pool or beach.
It has storage pockets, a clip for your baby’s dummy or other precious item and a detachable bib to protect it from less precious dribble. Because the pouch is small it can be folded up into a small roll.
Performance and Drawbacks
This carrier is a bit tricky to get your baby in and out of. It takes multiple steps and is probably easiest done when sitting.
The pouch itself is pretty minimal so there is a bit of baby wobble and it's not suitable for use for rigorous activities. Also it's not an option for a sleeping baby which limits the amount of time you can use it.
Conclusion
Not necessarily suitable for long periods of shopping or outdoor activity but it has to be one of the best options for social outings and travel.
