Design and Features

Who's Driving? is written by Leo Timmers and comes in an A4 landscape size in soft cover or a super-duper pop-up version in hard cover.

It is best suited to a 2 to 5 audience; however, younger children will enjoy the illustrations and simple story.

Performance and Drawbacks

Who's driving? is a bit more of a brain teaser for toddlers than a story. Of all the animals dressed up and ready to go, which one is most likely to drive the racing car? The hippo in his Hawaiian shirt?, the fox making a delivery?, the snail? or the hare in the racing suit?; you guess.

Rather than a story to be read, Who's Driving? encourages toddlers to sit down by themselves and consider the illustrations and turn the page to find the answer. This is an important step in getting children interested in reading.

Who's Driving is a book that children can really identify with; in our house it's always greeted with squeals of 'racing car', 'hippopotamus', 'crocodile' and so on every time a page is turned.

Conclusion

Who's Driving? is a nice quality and fun book that genuinely gets toddlers interested in picking it up and asking themselves the most important question at their age, Who's Driving?'

A range of Who's Driving? themed products have just been become available in Europe including puzzles, dominos and counting cards. Hopefully we'll see them in Australia.
