Community Rules

Best Buys 4 Baby aims to provide a safe and fun place for members to discuss their baby gear needs and questions. To ensure this please adhere to the following rules when participating in our community which includes, but is not limited to: forums, user profiles, talkback, private messages, feedback forms, user reviews, comments or ratings.

Please note: a separate set of rules applies to product distributors and retailers of baby and baby related products. Please contact us to join Best Buys 4 Baby as a distributor/retailer.

The information posted by members is not the opinion and views of Best Buys 4 Baby and we do not take responsibility for its accuracy.

1. Do not cause offence

Please no offensive, abusive or sexually explicit language. If any member acts in an inappropriate way, please do not respond, report the abuse to us so we can take appropriate action.

2. Don’t use capitals or punctuation excessively

Capitals and punctuation have their own meaning in cyberspace and can be interpreted as being offensive in some cases. Best just to avoid them altogether.

3. No advertising, never ever

Best Buys 4 Baby relies on its reputation as an independent source of information to its members, unsolicited advertising undermines this. Any kind of business promotion is considered advertising.

4. No personal details

Please do not post yours or anyone else’s personal details. We do not have any control over where they may end up.

5. Stick to the topic

Best Buys 4 Baby is our name and baby gear is our game. There are tons of other forums specifically allocated to other baby topics. They are better places to discuss your other baby needs and issues.

6. No external links

Please do not post any external links; they affect the effective operation of this site.

7. Beware of buying and selling

Fraud happens and Best Buys 4 Baby does not have the capacity to get involved in resolving disputes arising from unsuccessful transactions. Please take all precautions; trade is conducted at your own risk.

8. Other activity that is disruptive or annoying

Do not engage in any activity that is disruptive, offensive or annoying to other members. Best Buys 4 Baby reserves the right to remove or edit such posts. Any breach of these rules will be treated seriously and will result in restricted or cancelled access and/or any other action as deemed appropriate by Best Buys 4 Baby.

Our site contains links to other Internet sites owned by third parties. Your use of each of those sites is subject to the conditions, if any, that each of those sites has posted. We have no control over sites that are not ours and we are not responsible for any changes to or content on them.
